A group of volunteers in Sydney are mobilising efforts to raise funds that will go towards providing food, water and urgent supplies in the next 48 hours to the people of Tacloban. Here's how you can help.

Dear Family and Friends in Australia,

Two Steps to Help!

Step One: Donate $50 or more to go towards canned goods, water purification tablets, water and medicine for the people of Tacloban City. Purchased goods will be distributed by:

Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.

We have chosen this Non-Government Organisation (NGO) because we have a volunteer on the ground who will coordinate purchase of all goods and will be our eyes in ensuring the goods get to the survivors. RAFI also works with local government units and are experts in providing aid in  the Leyte region.

You can donate by Paypal or credit card, through our friends at Little and Loud International, Inc  (Thanks to Michelle Roldan, co-founder).

Or you can donate by bank transfer:

Under description: 48hours

Step Two: Donate canned goods, medicine, blankets, flashlights, candles and matchsticks, children’s clothing and toys this weekend (November 16-17 from 9am-5pm). Drop-off points:

In the city: Boon Chocolate Shop, 251 Victoria St, Darlinghurst.

In Campbelltown area: Drop them off straight to BM Express Address: 11 Wiltshire Street, Minto (call BM Express on 02 9820 2645 prior to drop-off).

In the Blacktown area: drop them off at the residence of Michael De Guia, Ph. 0410 699 108, Address: 1 Hillside Road, Blacktown (on Saturday, between 6pm-8pm or Sunday, between 9am-12noon).

Our preference would be canned goods and medicine, if possible.
