More than 60 supporters of fundraising and advocacy group 'Help After Haiyan' attended a special evening to watch the hit musical 'The King and I' and meet the Filipino-Australian cast.
Consul General Anne Louis, Consul Marford Angeles and his wife, and five members of the consulate staff were in attendance on the 23rd of September, Tuesday night show at the Sydney Opera House.
Community leaders and members of the Sydney FilPress Group also showed their support.
Help After Haiyan ambassador Marcus Rivera is currently performing as part of the ensemble and understudy to a major role, The Kralahome (the Prime Minister).
