As its celebration of the 123d Philippine Independence and 75 years of Philippine-Australian Bilateral Relations, the Alliance of Philippine Community Organisations (APCO0 is holding a community event on Saturday, 5 June 2021 during 10am - 3pm at the community picnic area in Auburn Botanic Gardens.
The theme of the celebration is "Ang Diwa ng Pagtutulungan sa Panahon ng Kagipitan" which translates to 'the spirit of cooperation during the time of need'.
There will be a program where short talks about the significance of celebrating both the Philippine Independence and the Philippine-Australian Bilateral Relations. Talented Fil-Aus artists will be performing dances and musical numbers.
In addition to the program, there will traditiional Filipino games and free bbq lunch, to be enjoyed for free.
