“A Pebble That Floats" is the untold life story of an Australian Filipina, Imelda Argel, retired Sydney practising Solicitor and registered migration agent, Awardee of the 2012 Presidential Award.

Imelda is offering her memoir for free download for only day, on February 27, 2021, through this link:  https://www.amazon.com/Imelda-Argel/e/B07RLJ1G5H/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0

The time setting of the free book on 27 February 2021 is 12:00 AM Pacific standard time(PST) which is 7:01 pm Sydney time and 4:01pm Manila time.

Imelda had successful book launches in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, but has not been able to hold a book launch anywhere else including the Philippines due to Covid19 restrictions. For this reason, she thought to make the free download available.

She said:
"I am reaching out by sharing it with those who may need uplifting, in particular, the stressed and depressed during this pandemic, couples who are engaged or have family issues, overseas workers and students."

The first part of her book details the main reason why she left an enviable legal career in the Philippines: psychological domestic violence she suffered during her marriage. The second part shares the challenges she had encountered to find work, and to obtain admission to practice as a Solicitor in Australia before establishing her successful solo practice. The third part is about how she met her love and current partner in Australia and the happy life they share at retirement.

There is also a preview of the book available @ YouTube Maria Imelda Argel, on this link.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw_rbQPmuav_1E7cYOgrYow with book reviews published on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pebblethatfloats.

Readers are encouraged to share the link on Amazon Kindle to friends and associates.  Those who missed the free download can get copies of the book on Amazon.com.au; Booktopia.com.au; Dymocks; Angus & Robertson.
