More relief goods were delivered to the victims of typhoon Odette in the Philippines following the dispatch of $4,500 cash assistance to the victims in Visayas and Mindanao.

In response to the continuing appeal from the victims of the devastations caused by the typhoon in many areas of the Visayas, Southern Luzon and Northern Mindanao for more assistance, Dr Cen Amores, project coordinator, promptly contacted her established cohorts - Filipino and multicultural community organisations, small businesses, churches and like-minded individuals to appeal for more relief goods assistance.

In partnership with Dr Ed and Violy Escultura, current and immediate past president of APCO respectively, Ruben and Dr Cen Amores, Kapit-bahayan Coop current and founding president, ASCON president and MATF Chairperson, respectively, volunteered their respective residences as drop off points. In less than two weeks, seven big boxes of relief goods were picked up bound for Mindanao, by Plus Cargo, offering very generous discount as usual.

Local partners who volunteered to provide logistical support to ensure an orderly and timely distribution of relief goods are: Pastora Alfreda S. Bernales of the Assemblies of God Church, Sta Monica, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte and Community Leader, Jennifer Serdan Codo of Barangay Taft, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
